The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. just released its latest Economic Freedom rankings. Chile has jumped to 7th place, no surprise to me. What is surprising to me is that socialistic Australia is somehow in 3rd place and, almost as bad, Canada is in 6th. Note the rankings of other blog list favorites: New Zealand 4th, Estonia 16th, Uruguay 29th and Panama 55th. The USA is barely hanging in the top ten nowadays. The only surprise there is why it is so highly ranked. If Ron Paul wins we might leave it there. Otherwise, push it down where it belongs!
